39342 - The conflagration’s missing people and the Government’s excuses
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias
At this point of time, that the fires are still continuing, some are already trying to cover their behinds regarding the mistakes which occurred at government level with the management of the disaster.
We see that the same people who have no problem whatsoeven in handing down the name of Macedonia, are totally incapable of protecting the Greek nation.
Consequently many are finally wondering what they are doing in ruling power, since they don’t know whether they are coming or going.
Only that their ideology doesn’t change with the fires.
Therefore we will have three days of mourning, verbally speaking always, but without that changing anything in regards to the incompetence and the inaction.
They aren’t pro action, they aren’t pro activity, but merely pro big verbalism.
As if we are merely voters who are listening to political party arguments and nothing more, as if we don’t realize that the governmental excuses compensate no dead, no death, no missing person.
Those who believe that something could be done by this government have burned down their last hope.
Even for the Left wing such incompetence is a blow, as it constitutes a stigma for the future, and so now everyone remembers what Churchill said.
Now came the time of resistance toward the absurd, and of the revolution for Macedonia.
