14864 - Chess on the train

N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

They had decided to play chess on the train. It wasn’t of course of their habit, since they were friends and indeed friendly but they wanted to study the consequences of an opening through the analysis of significant games. Initially it could be a detail. It wasn’t though. So among their things there was a chessboard with its pieces and its pawns. This difference would make the difference. Only that they would learn that much later. They did not know yet that this trip would be transformed into a mission due to an unforeseen event. So they came into the waiting hall , while they themselves were in a state of readiness due to their chess education. There they met the first branching of history. The new of the old and the old of the new were together and inseparable within the same space. The Master and the disciple examined the framework, in order to identify the field that would be transformed to an action field, before it became a battle field.
