With the publishing of the official journal of the European Union, the licensing round of the marine plots of the Greek EEZ , in the Ionion and those of Southern Crete is now official to all. It is no longer just a Greek vision, but also a European reality, which does not allow grounds for disputing to anyone, since all countries which have a point of contact with the middle line of the Greek EEZ, such as Albania, Italy and Libya, did not question it, and are especially positive about the whole process, since they want to utilize their own EEZ. With this publication, Greece has gained the support of the European Union as a whole, in other words, that, of its 28 Member States. The whole context is now one of alliance. So we observe again that the Greek EEZ, changes the data of the chessboard and functions catalytically on a geopolitical level. A licensing round which regards strategic reserves, creates an action field, that no longer concerns short-range actions. Quite the contrary, through the Greek EEZ, Greece finally plays a significant role, with initiatives which have a value even at a European level. Now we have proof of the value of our EEZ.
