Our occupied lands are neither lost nor unforgettable, firstly because they have never been lost and secondly because, they could be forgotten. The first mistake is due to ignorance and the second due to indifference.
Therefore, the mnemosyne fighters, have to battle against these mental schemes, which have castrated the refugee associations that have become at best, merely cultural clubs, which have no other vision than just passive maintenance of things and never in actual fact bother the perpetrator, because they consider it was their fate to be victims.
But reality is quite different. If they became victims, it’s simply because their ancestors were remarkable.
What’s important, is that they have survived and as survivors they must claim their rights and each must help the others, as it’s now happening with the issue of the recognition of the genocide against the Assyrians.
Likewise, the occupied territories are also a vision, because the Occupied is an unacceptable term.
You can’t let your land and your history die, because some, have told you that it is impossible to do anything regarding those issues.
Let it be impossible for them, not for us.
If each association was coordinated with the rest and was not wasting time in controversies, then the situation would have been different and it wouldn’t be only ours that danced, but mostly our enemies, because they wouldn’t know where to place their feet.
Because an oppressor who is not bothered, slowly deletes history. But here, there are fighters who never forget, because they’re bookmarks of history, and with them, we can change everything, if we believe it actually and practically.
