The Greeks want to be in the European Union and the Euro zone not of special interests or because they are afraid, but because it is their natural position. Where else would our homeland be, if it weren’t in these institutions that follow standards which we invented from the oldest eras, since it is the concept of the union and of the common that worked as mental schemes. Also Hellenism didn’t await for Europe to exist, on the contrary it affected over the centuries its history and its evolution. This of course occurred in a diachronic manner, since never did our history withdraw from this context even during the most difficult period of the Turkish rule. And in all of these years we showed to everyone with our paradigm what it means to resist and to to be sacrificed for the good of others. We don’t have only heroes, but we come from these homelands whose heroes have influenced Humanity. So we don’t need any political party or even a government to tell us what to do, because it is we who chose them with the concept of democracy because we believe that the people have the right to express themselves with free will without commitment to a political agenda. We are Greeks and with shall vote as free beings because that is how we always were. This is why we continue the work of our heroes.
