20325 - Our obligation as Greeks

N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Today our obligation as Greeks is simple.
We must vote to show everybody that we want to be within the European Union and the Eurozone.
They must all understand that we’re not giving up and that we continue the fight for our country, for Greece. . damn it.
Because we are sick and bored of this situation.
Because we have to go forward.
We must manage and utilize, the Greek EEZ, the Greek zeolite, the Greek innovation, and partisanship would not convince us to let go and give up.
We must protect our people, our elderly, our children, because they are innocent.
We must make a decision that affects not only us but the future of all Greece.
We must decide what will be the Greece of tomorrow.
We must continue the negotiations, because it is the only way to assert our rights.
We are combative and will prove it because we have learned from our ancestors never to abandon a battle.
We are not concerned about ideologies, what we care about is our Greece and we will prove that today with our vote, because we don’t want it to pass away.
