26466 - Catalysis, Games and Neural Networks

N. Lygeros

It would be strange to consider the process of catalysis as a game for a neural networks. But this doesn’t mean that it is impossible. Our brain has many strange ideas and uses many catalytic processes to think. By the way, the game can be abstract and especially for the definition of the players in this context. Even the sense of the action and the reaction can be interpreted in this formal context, Sometimes in the world of the games, we have position or configuration which are forcé. This means that each move is necessary in a sequence. And in this situation we do not need to think that they were chosen by a mind. In other words, it works like an algorithm with no real choices because only one of them is the best. So now imagine, the same configuration in a catalytic process. At first glance, it seems that there are no players but we see the evolution of the process as a sequence of moves in something which can be interpreted as a formal game. Now in the context, we can imagine a neural network which decides to start a catalysis process to obtain a product. We will have the same idea. So why not consider in this perspective a Catalysis with Games and Neural Networks.
