28261 - Time wasting

Translated from Greek by Athina Kehagias

When a government doesn’t know what to do, then it’s trying to convince the nation through pretending that it’s actually doing something, even if it’s just a waste of time. It assumes that in this manner it’s going to gain time, in order to get through to the next days quietly and without criticisms, but it doesn’t obtain nor offers any prospects for the country. More specifically, even regarding issues such as strategy and energy, which we know how important they are for the future of our homeland, absolutely nothing is taking place. And not only that, but additionally every effort is made in order to stop any serious moves which could lead to tangible actions. We of course don’t know of how much longer we could endure this unacceptable delay and inaction on the part of the meaningless ruling authority. The problem is, that nobody is in a hurry to change the data. And while we have access to two important tripartites, one of which regards a triple point of contact (Greece-Cyprus-Egypt), and the other constitutes a strategic bridge (Greece-Cyprus-Israel), we are always the ones who delay the entire process, because quite simply the “competent” ones themselves, check: quotation marks, don’t care to move towards this direction, because they disagree with it ideologically. And that’s the serious problem that we are facing. Their ideology has collapsed decades ago in many countries around the world, and the only ones who still support such ideology, are simply unacceptable dictatorships which openly violate the human rights. Greece has no tradition connecting it to this ideology which has caused so many barbarities, and it’s not about to obtain it, because we are a nation of freedom, of memory and of Time, the three elements which contradict it as such. It’s about time we finally understood that, in order for the time wasting to come to an end.
