Now that we see the reality more clearly, after the end of this blurry scene which prevailed for so many months, we understand that the withdrawal of the occupation army was not even a prerequisite for some and that they are indifferent about the European Union, while Cyprus has joined since 2004 and this is why they continue talking about guarantor powers while we know how effective they were at the time of the invasion and then of the occupation. In other words, because in the meantime we incessantly continued to the third licensing round it is important to examine how dynamically can the framework of the European Union and the scope of the Cypriot EEZ contribute to the resolution of the Cypriot question, even in the practical and technical part, instead of waiting for an artificial resolution which is not established neither to the European acquis nor to the energy facts. So it is time to discuss seriously with these two parameters so that the Turkish-Cypriots understand, but also the settlers that the occupational regime mocks them extensively and that ones have rights in the European Union, while the others only in Turkey, which of course, they do not enjoy for decades now. The real resolution of the Cypriot question needs a revision of strategic data, a restructuring of moves and a redeployment of our strengths. The progress that is important in strategy and in energy are what will operate catalytically and no other. So the negotiations will have to be made on a different base.
