N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

The Masterclass re: Greek – Libyan relations will take place in collaboration with Elias Conophagos.
It’s an open course with specific knowledge, which is not closed to the general public.
Quite the contrary, it seeks to attract the locals, as it specifically concerns the development of their region. However the classical working hour limitations will not be applicable, and so endurance is a prerequisite.
The timing is important as we need a good preparation prior to the second licensing round, as well as the initiation of the negotiations with Libya regarding the issue of the demarcations of the Exclusive Economic Zone, because the energean data are enhanced in the eastern Mediterranean, and will reach over to the nine marine blocks located South of Crete.
It’s important therefore that we have a clear picture of the two States, both in terms of strategy and of energy.
As we already have tangible results throughout the entire Eastern Mediterranean region, it’s necessary to get prepared strategically in order to utilize the energy.
And this concerns the ordinary citizens directly, who will have to play their political role as conscious voters who obtain the knowledge in order to accelerate the pace of the process regarding the establishment and the demarcation of the EEZ.
Additionally, the Masterclass will prove that the respect towards the people and the environment constitutes the principal axes of this approach which inscribes the future of Greece, which is created not by many, but by the few who are rare.
