33404 - Cypriot developments and the EEZ

Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Each new day enhances the value of the EEZ, because the utilization of the Cypriot EEZ proves that even a small country can obtain high strategy.
The fact that the West Capella mining platform is already situated upon the target reserve, and in actual fact, precisely within the context of the original plan, is not only an indication of success, but also a genuine achievement against a country of barbarism which of course wrongly assumes that it constitutes a regional power.
The Cypriot geopolitical position has been upgraded with all these data, because it brought upon the chessboard which it created with its EEZ, powerful players, both as States, and as oil companies, which function in alliance and are catalytic towards the evolution of the Cypriot issue.
Never in the Cypriot history did we have such positive results after 1974, and the invasion.
In other words, even though we have many politicians who are telling us that they are involved with the Cypriot issue, in actual fact only those who have promoted the EEZ issue have really contributed to this struggle.
Consequently, we have to realize the fact that the existence of such a strategic chessboard around Cyprus constitutes a shield it never obtained in the past.
Additionally, Turkey’s moves, which are aiming in influencing foreign organizations, are totally purposeless and ineffective.
Therefore, Cyprus produces works not only for its people but for the entire Hellenism, since all of these efforts will come to tangibly and practically support the East Med gas pipeline, which will begin at the reserves of Cyprus and Israel, and then continue on towards the route to Crete. passing on the side of the Peloponnese to end up in Italy.
In that manner it becomes clear to all, that the Cypriot developments not only concern Cyprus as such, but also the European Union itself through the Eastern Mediterranean, and this alone gives other dimensions to the island and to the vision of the liberation.
