Someone painted
the symbol of silence
upon a leaf of a tree
and as we did not know the reason
we took it to Miss
who told us
that it had a music value
and she showed it to us
with her guitar.
She saw that we were happy
and she explained
that we ought to go to the forest
so we can talk
about the different silences.
It was there that we discovered
that the silences were not all
of the same value
and then we wondered
if the leaves with their movements
there were no silences of the trees
which were telling us
about their silent love
just like in the old black and white movies.
