The Armenians of Cyprus
show the example of resistance
against the barbarism
with the initiative they took
in addressing the Mayor of Larnaca
for the road sign
with the name of the gray wolves
to be removed
who constitute a parastatal organization
and are banned in other countries
so that a new naming would take place
and for the road to be liberated
from the stigma which characterizes
persons which encroach
for decades now upon people
and who deny the existence of the genocide..
That is why we believe
that the road should
get the name
of Raphael Lemkin
who coined the word genocide
and which now belongs
in the Charta of the United Nations.
