62235 - The Soviet rapes

Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias

The Soviets did not only rape two million German women but also 100,000 Austrian and up to 200,000 Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Polish, Czechoslovakians and Yugoslavian as well. In Germany, however, rape entailed torture and mutilations. It also included beatings to death or quite simply executions. Even the British prisoners explained that at the time of the “liberation” by the Soviets, the rapes of every woman and every girl from 12 to 60 years old began. The fathers and the son-in-laws who wanted to protect them were immediately victims of murder. As for the girls who resisted strongly , they died immediately. In actual fact, never before, in any country, had there been so many women and girls raped by foreign soldiers as was the case in Germany between 1944 and 1945. The Soviet rapes in Berlin alone numbered up to 100,000. One of the consequences was that 10,000 women died or committed suicide. Through the entire Germany after the Soviet rapes, 240,000 women died.
