85056 - Pleasure and liberation
N. Lygeros
In ancient text, it’s possible to see the notions of pleasure and liberation as opposite. As if they are the final target of a school or a tradition. Sometimes they are trying to find an opposition between the pursuit of pleasure and the quest of liberation. But with the evolution of tradition, it’s possible to see these trends which are different as part of the same strategic mix. The pleasure in this case is a way to access to the liberation without any opposition. In practice it can be even the way to overpass the obstruction of duality and to get an harmonic alloy. In other words it’s a kind of complementarity and no more an opposition.
