50149 - The room with the paintings
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias
At first we hadn’t noticed the door
leading us to the room with the paintings
but when we entered it
we were fascinated by the spectacle.
It had paintings by the Masters of the Century.
That’s how we found
Caravaggio (1571 – 1610)
Rubens (1577 – 1640)
Poussin (1594 – 1665)
Velazquez (1599 – 1660)
Rembrandt (1606 – 1669)
Vermeer (1632 – 1675)
Zurbaran (1598 – 1664)
This sight was unimaginable
because we were not in a museum
in the classical sense
we had access to this piece of Time
which had written history for Humanity.
Who could have imagined such a gift?
Who could have conceived it?
That’s what we were thinking at the time
that this treasure was recorded.
We didn’t as yet have an explanation.
Unless they were references regarding this branching
in other mathematics
which we discovered later on.
