82494 - The Australian referendum

Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias
At the moment the Australian referendum is presented as a dispute between the major political parties. But slowly it will become more clearer due to the historical background, that it is more of a claim of the idea. Because the original proposal was made by another party and the final proposal is its modified continuation. It is therefore logical that the latter party to want to present itself as the one that took the initiative and the former to say that it does not agree with this modification of the original plan. In any case we understand that both have realized that something ought to take place in regards to this case. It is also presented, at least at the methodological level, as a different approach in terms of direction, i.e. from top to bottom or from bottom upward. We finally realize that there is a differentiation in relation to the state level and the federal level as well. Fears have also came to surface regarding both the issues regarding property as well as national issues. Even the placing of the amendment in the preamble or within the body of the constitution is a point of friction. Australia however is a democracy and the most important thing is that we will find a way to solve matters, because everyone at heart wants to propose solutions to the issue because they realize that solutions ought to be found which will be effective for the entire Australia.
