85054 - From tradition to innovation
N. Lygeros
It’s important to understand that there is a continuity between tradition and innovation. The same concepts are present in both of them. The difference is at the level of edges and not so much for the vertices. The structure of the innovation uses a map on the substructures of traditions. The partial covering of them is sufficient to export something new as an innovative synthesis. Of course to do this, we have to avoid any dogmatic point of view because by definition it’s against any sharing and any evolution as it considers itself as a complete system. But after Gödel’s theorem we know that a complete system can be obtained only at a very low level. So the real problem is the access to perfection.
