The victory of freedom was the first clear
victory of the Cold War against
the barbarity of the Soviet Union.
The communist puppets were
of course disappointed.
But it didn’t matter.
The insurrection was a failure.
Even in this situation
the communist propaganda tried
to protect the dogma
of the Soviet Union.
It tried to explain
that it wasn’t involved
in this proxy war.
The explanation was simple.
The Soviet Union had to be invincible
but the reality was tough.
It lost its first war.
It was a failure
for the model of the superpower.
It wasn’t the last one.
