N. Lygeros
Even in the US many people think that the American arguments against China are exaggerating the situation and they do not correspond to the reality. In fact they don’t take account of the deep reality. China wants to control the world. Now it’s clear in any manner because it is in its ideology, it is also its new strategy, it’s no more just the Empire of the Center. So they want to control Africa, they want to control of course Asia but the idea is that they have an opening in the Europe and of course in America. They are trying to extend their control area and they are trying right now to put some stones in the Middle East to avoid the presence of the US and even of the European Union. Why? Because they consider, and it’s correct of course, that Asia and Africa are in reality with a bridge in the Middle East, so they want to control this area which is strategic and they do it in many ways, not only one. The crisis right now in the Middle East seems to be something which is like a singularity but in reality all the framework, all the dynamical system of the region has been impacted by China not only to do something specific but to control the area, to have a bigger influence in this region. We have to take care about that and we have to be very careful when we say that China is far away from the Middle East crisis. It’s wrong. China is very close and uses this proxy war also for its own interest. We have to keep this in mind to find new targets, to see the big picture and to understand their position because indeed we have China which is a country which wants not only an extension but the total control of certain areas of the world.
