In the difficult situations that we are going through, after a two month prolongation of the large licensing round re: the 20 marine plots in the Greek EEZ, we could’ve had a unfertile round.
Finally, with all the problems which occurred in these last 8 (eight) months, there are three bids regarding the marine plots.
The tenders will remain sealed for 10 (ten) working days after the termination of the banks closure, because there is currently an issue regarding the deposit of 100,000 Euros that is demanded to accompany each submission, for each marine plot.
That fact is important, because they could’ve certainly withdrawn any application due to the economic instability of our country. .
But what’s of value, is that the round passed into the stage of utilization, a factor which was unthinkable for most of our own.
Whereas now it is regarding a reality which nobody can question.
Because the three offers were made after the purchase, the reading and the studying of the seismic data, which was a prerequisite for the participation in the large licensing round.
Now it is interesting to find out from which companies these offers were made, and for what marine plots are the offers for.
It is substancial to find out if there is a competitive context re: the candidate companies, due to the negotiations will begin soon after the assessment of the candidates’ files by Greece .
