The Time issue plays an enormous role in these negotiations, and every day that passes, brings us closer and closer to the context of Greece’s large Licensing round for the 20 marine plots of Greek EEZ.
While initially nobody payed attention during the negotiations, because they assumed that the EEZ is merely a theoretical context and somewhat too generalised for economists who don’t believe in strategy, and do not study the energy data.
But now that we have reached this level, and are so close to the deadline for the submission of the applications for the companies who will sign contracts with Greece in this licensing round, they are all forced to say and see, that it will have an influence over the negotiations, which are searching for even more tangible evidence within the verbalizations of the talks.
Who will dare say now, that the 20 marine plots of the Greek EEZ do not exist?
Even the most ignorant can’t, because now the reality has come down to his level and he can see it as well.
The positive aspect is that we are prepared, and with this licensing round we can prove our credibility not only at a European level, but also at an international one.
On July 14th, we will have officially at hand the names of the applicants and we will know what the initial conditions of these negotiations will be, as it will be Greece who for six months will be entitled to evaluate all the proposals and even moreso separately, for each of the twenty marine plots which will have applicants.
In other words, now that the Eurogroup is in the look out for legislations, we have already prepared a licensing round that gives high potential for our homeland, and this will certainly affect positively the Eurogroup and the wider European Union.
