17979 - Each EEZ marine plot is a deposit target

Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Since the Greek EEZ marine plots were officially published in the Journal of the European Union, they are all wondering, how the dissecting took place, and how that may be effective in relation to the attractiveness, for the interest of specialized companies.
Our marine plots are rational in regards to geopolitics, as they come into direct contact with the midline of Albania, Italy and Libya.
They also have the right size to be attractive for large companies which are not interested in small plots.
They also comprise of the required consistency, as there are 10 plots in the Ionian sea and 9 south of Crete, which are representing PGS’s study fields of its seismic surveys. Only the plot 11 is independent, because it was known prior and lays south of the Peloponnese.
Additionally, we must add that, based on the data available to us, each plot of the Greek EEZ has at least one target deposit, otherwise it would not have been issued. And the explanation is simple.
As it is compulsory for the companies to purchase the seismic map of the plot to which they wish to be candidates, if there was’nt a target deposit, they would not be candidates to a plot with no potentiality.
It is therefore of importantance to realize the fact that, we have at least this multitude of target deposits in this licensing round.
Consequently, it is good to know about it, in order to be able to utilise it, when we begin negotiating in practical terms, but also the the morale of the Greek people.
