Investigations are continuing in the Greek EEZ and in due time all of our estimates concerning the location of major reserve targets are confirmed ,which total up to the so-called strategic reserves of our country . In that order it becomes thereon understandable to everyone that the Greek EEZ is highly compulsive to Greece , especially regarding the hydrocarbons sector . Because current round of concessions involving small onshore reserves and those within 6 nm , within the current national waters . The Greek EEZ is reinforced daily from data of seismic surveys conducted by the Norwegian company PGS. Therefore all the people who where explaining to us at first that there was absolutely nothing there , they must now admit that not only there are hydrocarbon reserves but also that they are of great value. We all now see that the scenario that was played in 2004 in Cyprus where Tassos Papadopoulos received incredible criticisms for his talks on gas while now his enemies exploit the Cypriot EEZ and its hydrocarbons , is repeated here in Greece in 2014 . We should therefore overcome all obstacles and move on to practical stage of concessions of the Greek EEZ , so that we can start with the large rounds of concession which are able to change all the factors of the economy through the high strategy of the Greek EEZ .Every analysis of seismic data is a step further in this direction . For this reason we must all realize the value of the Mediterranean Ridge and Herodotus Basin for the exploitation of the Greek EEZ.
