15940 - Α human is he, who is fighting to belong to Ηumanity

N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

The individual is he, who is anonymous and belongs to society, and who has not chosen anything at all.
The human is he, who fights to belong to Humanity.
That is, fighting to become a cohuman, in order to help his fellow man, to support his existence with his actions, and to may even become a sector, if he comes in to serious difficulties, in order to make this big phase change possible.
This major phase change, is due to various components.
In the case of a lit candle, we give great importance to the fact that it produces light.
We don’t think neither of the wick, nor the wax, beeswax, whereas, it’s the combination of the three which produce a result.
Therefore, if we were to examine it, we would see that, there are several categories of people, not in the sense of a category, subcategory etc. But in the sense of the characteristics, which could help in a versatile manner, as chips of a mosaic so to say, and to finally indicate the following: How do we see people with disabilities.
A society, the more it protects the people with disabilities, the more humane it is.
Here suddenly, people with disabilities can appear as a criterion of humanity.
A society that eliminates them, is merely barbarism.
A society that protects them, it’s more humane.
A society that respects them, has values.
Because sometimes, we do not respect, and we merely confuse two concepts. We confuse, love the charity.
So what is the idea?
Very often in this field you hear the expression socialization.
So our issue is, firstly to be independent, therefore, the issue of autonomy and secondly is the issue of socialization.
Therefore, when the individuals are trying to find a job and are saying they are trying to join in a social context.
The most important is not the socialization, is the Humanity to be ready, to be a mutual respect at a humane and human level, and not just a social institution.
