The seismic departs but, the ridiculous remains and the reason is simple.
When you depart, having done absolutelly nothing, and then you are trying to utilize it diplomatically, that goes to show how low your level is.
For the past four months we monitor the movements of a seismic vessel, which in actual fact remained at the port of Famagusta, without doing any research on the marine plots, as contemplated by NAVTEX, meaning the 1, 8 and 12 plots. So they all talked about the discomfort caused by a seismic vessel that was tied at the port. Now that it’s departing, they are trying to say that it is associated with the ENI rig at the Amathusa deposit .
Reality is radically different.
ENI has promptly made its investigations into marine plot 9 at Onasagoras deposit, and then onto the deposit Amathusa, without undergoing absolutely no hassles. Therefore the research followed the standard procedure.
Consequently, if the seismic departs, that leaves us completely indifferent in regards to the EEZ. It was a contrivance from the beginning, it was not even a stratagem, and we all knew its low value. Now that’s just proven. Let’s now set it out clearly, and let us continue our work in the context of the Cypriot EEZ without dealing with the meaningless. Because the initiative is the EEZ and not a seismic of inertia and inaction.
