19245 - The road naming tactics

N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Every mayor, every municipality in the Occupied territories, instead of waiting for the barbarians to rename villages and towns, they could implement the following road naming tactics. Each new road in the Occupied territories could be easily recorded by the municipalities, then, at a technical level with the technology of GPS, and we know that there is no particular difficulty in doing so.
Therefore we can enrich the maps of the network, so that when we are at the Occupied territories, we could be guided by the names we have chosen, so that there could be a consistency with the past. In this way, the occupation is not an unsurpassed obstacle in order for us to continue the task of our homeland.
And if it makes no sense to complain, since nothing is done, let us take the initiative of naming, in order to show our history to the next, without the barbaric forgery, which is trying to erase every trace of Hellenism on an island, where it lives for some thousands of years. We have many of our people who have perished in the war, we have our missing people, who we can honour in this simple way at least.
So if every mayor, every municipality make this move, it will be transformed into an act which will radically change the data.
This is not merely a movement of resistance, but a counterattack act for the liberation of the Occupied territories from the yoke of oblivion. So that, we no longer be indifferent in regards to our future.
