20338 - Our struggle is continuing

Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Our struggle is continuing and we are entering a new phase of negotiations, in order to find a strategic solution which would allow us to remain in the European Union and the Eurozone.
We must examine the proposals, to make counterproposals, and find a balance with the new data, which would have no further cost for our nation.
Within this new action field, we must bear in mind those who still suffer because of the restrictive measures.
Additionally, we must be united during the negotiations, in order to be resistant and achieve a satisfactory result under the new conditions.
On the battlefield, we ought to make use of objective arguments, such as the issue of the Greek EEZ and the licensing round re: the 20 marine plots, because with them we can change the situation, since they will work constructively for our homeland.
Because now, more than ever before, we must show that we have founded prospects, as difficult as the economic situation may be, because the economic measures are not adequate to modify our finances.
We need strategic measures which utilize high strategy, in order to affect our macroeconomics.
What matters right now is the big picture, and not the petty local interests.
Our priority is for our homeland to be saved from its vast sufferings.
