The resistance of the ANZAC’s
was proven on May the 19th
when 42,000 Ottomans
launched an attack
aiming to throw overboard
the Australians and the New Zealanders
who totaled up to not more than 17,000 men,
they counted on the surprise factor
and that, of the mass of their soldiers
in order to crush the resistance
as they lacked ammunition
and artillery.
But an identifier aircraft
had recorded their preparations
and so despite the number
of the Ottoman invaders
the ANZAC’s remained in their posts
and they never retreated.
As a result the attack turned out to be
an actual disaster
the Turkish forces lost
thirteen thousand soldiers
over six hundred dead
on the side of the Allies.
