25275 - Our national credibility
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias
When you are unable to manage small problems, then you focus only on the big ones in order to justify your inaction re: the small.
Is it possible for some to assume that we could be persuative in regards to our powers, when we haven’t helped the Northern Epirotans against a regime which is still lost and searching.
When we have not solved the problem with Skopje while we get consumed in rediculousness.
To not have understood that Bulgaria was already in an accession process stage, and our own, without updating the data provided by the competent authorities abroad, to constantly talk about half a front.
With these bare fact and unacceptable deficiencies, we allow for the impression that we will effectively manage our problems with Turkey, while many of our serviles are still under the Stockholm Syndrome and continue to tell us that she will actually help us.
The reality is of course radically different, and you needn’t be radical to see it for what it is.
It’s all words and more words, as per the song, and never actions.
No one would be convinced if they don’t realy want to.
Consequently, all this diplomacy of the void causes mere damage to our very structure, and that’s especially obvious during the anniversary period of the genocide against the Armenians, the Assyrians, and the Greeks.
We hide behind an artificial approach in order to hide all that we haven’t done as a government, even though we have promised it to the innocent who believed it.
Simply now, even the innocent have their eyes quite open.
