On account of the Greek zeolite more and more issues are disclosed which belong to the absurd.
Years ago we were struggling for the first mining to take place in Greece, and more specifically in Thrace, in order for the region to develop with an element which would obtain a national range.
For years on, the Greek bureaucracy delayed this development, and as a result the locals no longer believe, that something will eventuate from it.
Eventually we’ve experienced a phase change with other areas, different than the initial, even though always close to the Petrota. .
These new research licenses functioned as a catalyst and they were enhanced by the general battle regarding the emergence of the Greek zeolite.
It was already a corrective move regarding all the problems which we overcame absorbing the delays re: the issue, in relation to other Balkan states, which had already begun extracting their own zeolite.
Consequently, the entire Thrace realized that its vision started to be implemented and it was no longer merely an illusion.
But the regionalistic obsessions aren’t absent, and unfotunately they can’t be coordinated with the extraversion of Hellenism.
We can again now see interventions from several individuals and organizations, who for their own interests alone, are trying to block the entire effort, simply because they are indifferent as per the development of Thrace, Macedonia and Greece as a whole.
The arguments they present, are not only characteristic of regionalism, but simultaneously of irresponsibility as well.
In actual fact it doesn’t matter, and it doesn’t change anything regarding the issue, but it’s a mere shame that there are such cases in our Thrace.
Because we had no need for them after so many problems that we overcame in order to reach this stage.
It wasn’t meant to be for the locals to enhance the overall effort.
But the spirit remains as such, and the development of Thrace will begin, even without some of them.
Hellenism will prevail even without these partisanly elements which belong to the past, and which were surpassed by the struggles of democracy.
Besides, the value of a battle gets increased according to the obstacles that it has to overcome.
Consequently the struggle re: the Greek zeolite grew somewhat again.
