26974 - The battles for the liberation of Mosul
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Antonis Vasileiou
Mosul is a strategic goal and should be liberated because its inhabitants are hostages of the terrorist organization Daesh. It isn’t only one of the strongest strongholds in Iraq, it is a place where people are suffering because an extreme heresy wants to impose its barbarity. Kurdish and American coalition forces have already managed reconquering villages in the Mosul area. But this is only the beginning of the liberation and a form of preparation for the future of Iraq but also Kurdistan. The Kurds are progressing dynamically with the help of the Americans to establish the positions of the Sevres Treaty and battles against Daesh are at the same time a way to implement a vision they have since decades. As for the Americans, it is no coincidence that the American President Wilson mapped out regions and especially of Kurdistan and Western Armenia. So both states know what we are fighting for. And even though they where alone, they would fight to liberate the region, because they believe in what they do and in fact without phobias.
