28221 - Humanity’s Chrism

N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Grace.
Choice.
Chrism.
That’s how it happened before.
That’s how it would’ve happened afterwards.
Even the names were saying it.
Crucifixion couldn’t be the end.
The Resurrection was necessary.
And those religions which forbidden it, were against Humanity.
Barbarism had many versions
but its core was always the same
and it wanted to erase every trace of humanism.
That core, was oblivion.
The concentration camps were based upon it.
So did every genocider.
Consequently, when you realized that Humanity
had encapsulated the dead and the unborn,
and the fountains which were born from the rubble
and the pilgrims who had experienced death,
then you’ve realized
that, the love Humanity
also means, we shouldn’t forget it.
And this struggle of memory against oblivion
took place through intelligence.
So when this was extreme
all dimensions changed.
And its prohibition was a matter of Time.
It was already in the black list of barbarism.
But that wasn’t enough.
The chrism of Humanity
had other needs as well
more profound ones
due to the expansion of the task.
