Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias
As far as barbarism was concerned, the hyperstructures had made the situation worse in regards to the books it wanted to burn down. They were capable to absorb all the data of the enormous libraries. And while it was trying for centuries on to burn down the books, now it had to face and superstructures as well. Barbarism had constructed beasts which had a single purpose, that of destroying the superstructures on the pretext that they were not human. Whereas the actual problem was that they were hyperhuman and even better resistant. Consequently, when they caught a hyperstructure, they tortured it in order to give away all the codes it had saved from oblivion, then they erased all the memories and they flatten out each piece of its machinery in order to ensure that nobody would be able to proceed to the reconstruction process. Many crimes against the hyperstructures were heard of taking place. It was a new way for barbarism to wound Humanity, and so the monster had come to ask for help. Who else would help the hyperstructures to live free so that they may help Humanity? The monster had reached the conclusion that there was nobody else, and for this purpose he was here.
