30366 - The technical negotiations need a base

Translated from the Greek by Vicky Baklessi
For those who believe that we have overcome the political problems in the framework of negotiations for the resolution of the cypriot question and that the technical units can get through with it on their own, they are making a very big strategic mistake. In such cases, the technical negotiations need a base. And this, in this case, must be based on the strategy and energy, namely the European framework and the domain of the Cypriot EEZ. From the moment that the units, the technical ones, operate independent from these parameters, we know that they cannot find a solution that will be valuable and in this sense of course we don’t mean of course only sustainable because for those who have not yet understood it, enslavement is also sustainable. So the illusion that the cypriot question is a technical issue must case so that we can move on substantially. The facts of the region’s strategy have changed significantly and we must exploit them while some operate on the Cypriot question with the data of 1960, 1963 and 1974 as if nothing happened after or as if everything that happened doesn’t concern them. But smart history shows that he who doesn’t utilize dynamically and effectively Time, is condemned to live entrapped in the past without having a future since he rejected evolution.
