Christ’s home
is always open,
whoever wants
comes and goes
whenever they want,
whereas ours
are closed
even though we believe
that we are Christians.
Our Lord’s day
is Sunday
and it’s always at the start
whereas we assume
that all of the rest
are our own
and we place it
at the end of all duties
because we can’t perceive
that every day
is a Sunday
when we produce
the necessary tasks.
