Even though we have months being explained to us that the Turkish- Cypriots have separated their position from Turkey, we see now that it was clearly propaganda which had an aim to confuse the Greek- Cypriots and in fact on a political framework. Mr. Akıncı who studied in Ankara demonstrates more and more obviously the preference he has for the continuation of his objective and finally presents himself as an advocate of the Turkish occupation’s approach rather than any Cypriot one. It finally becomes understood to all that arguments in the sense of “the peace and prosperity which exists in Cyprus, are due to the presence of the turkish army” cannot be thoughts of a negotiator for the resolution of the Cypriot question.So the whole process for which we are talking about for months is finally out of context. At the same time we realize that the only positive developments that exist for the Cypriot question is the strategic data of the Cypriot EEZ. So our top strategy must be based and established on this and not waste time with pseudo-negotiations
