a spectacle
neither was
it necessary
for Christ
but it happened
necessarily
for the people
and for this
he accepted
the sacrifice
after the tradition
to show
to the faithful
with its example
that the resurrection
has meaning
and that barbarity
as powerful
as it is
it cannot
conquer
the light.
