40744 - The War Museum at Kalpaki

Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias
At the War Museum at Kalpaki, not only is the value of Hellenism during World War II visible. What is also obvious is the power differentiations, the predominance of the Italians, but also the determination of the Greeks to defend themselves upon a front, where they should’ve normally suffered an enormous cost.
However, the Greek army not only had managed to resist effectively, but it also maintained its positions and then on managed to initiate a counter-attack which ensured the difference for all involved.
