40748 - The injustice of the propaganda
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias
When a man falls dead merely because he had placed Greek flags in a purely Greek-speaking village, we can’t help but wonder as to what was the context of the propaganda which led to this outcome, because nothing is normal when there is a violation of human rights and an encroachment upon a National minority which is merely celebrates a National Anniversary. And because we were in the village where this occurred, the sad fact that we can as witnesses confirm, is that the flags were everywhere throughout the duration of the event we attended, both in the church and in the cemetery. Consequently, for someone to be chosen as guilty for such an offense, whereas we all know that we were within a specific context, then we understand that these are the injustices of the propaganda.
