Rare are the people that realize how much the issues of the Indigenous People in the United Nations have progressed since 2007, the year of the UN Declaration of the Rights of the Indigenous Peoples. Indeed the constructive struggle continues to become even stronger. And since we moved onto the next stage, now we are preparing for September 2020 in Yerevan, the First General Assembly of the Indigenous Peoples also outside the framework of the United Nations. It is also very important and symbolic that Armenia is chosen as a first country to host this new organization on a global level. It is an indirect exoneration of  the struggle of Western Armenia for the liberation of its people from the bondage of barbarity but simultaneously even the proof of its acceptance by the other Indigenous Peoples of Earth. Surely this fact will provoke reactions, but it is the only way not only to claim rights but to implement them on a practical level without waiting anything from the others, since the issue is ours and it depends exclusively on our own initiatives.
