50435 - About a European strategic mix in regards to lifting the restrictions

More than ever before, due to this pandemia, we realize how important it is to have a strategic vision within the European Union context.
Indeed, even if the national structures have resisted well in their entirety, it is obvious that it is necessary for them to be enduring not merely in regards to the restrictions, but also regarding the lifting of the restrictions at a European level.
This is perfectly visible within the Schengen region.
Consequently, instead of mourning and falling into a deep misery due to our inability to quickly find our footing, it is necessary to plan our European future in a strategic manner.
Because we have clearly observed the mistakes and failures in regards to decision making re: the initiation of the restrictions, and it is not at all necessary to relive them through the lifting of the restrictions context as well.
We ought to think of a policy which must be enduring, and if it cannot be identical within the context of our countries, at least it ought to constitute a strategic mix, so that we can have a durable result for this first stage epidemia exit, even if it is not optimal. Because durability is optimal through time, whereas it is the optimal which is by nature rarely durable.
