Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias

Following the EEZ delimitation between Greece and Italy, which was actuated upon the same points as the delimitation of the continental shelf of 1977, and after the partial delimitation of the EEZ between Greece and Egypt, we ought to move on toward the total delimitation with Egypt and of course the delimitation with Cyprus, which has officially requested twice in the past.
The total delimitation is necessary in order for the Kastellorizian complex to become fully activated, both with Egypt and Cyprus
In actual fact, the role of Cyprus is even more important, because it functions on the northern triple point of contact, and not merely the southern one, as is Egypt.
There are so many years that we have been fighting for the triple point of contact, and now we can see how late we were in implementing it.
In fact, the triple signature at intergovernmental level and the triple ratification by Greece, Cyprus and Israel, have enhanced our positions, since the EastMed natural gas pipeline will pass through those two triple points of contact.
Additionally, the delimitation of the EEZ between Greece and Cyprus is a linear segment, which means that even merely two points are enough for it to occur.
Finally, we can no longer leave Cyprus alone to deal with the problems with Navtex, seismics and drillings, while we are in the same allied context, against the barbarism and the provocations of Turkey.
