Long ago
when we were still young
they taught us to paint
upon a leaf of paper
but the Forest Master
spoke to our teacher
and she showed us
how to paint
upon the leaves of trees.
Because she was smart
she chose Autumn
so she can teach us.
Therefore the trees gave us the leaves as a gift
in order for us to paint.
We took great care of every detail
so as not to spoil their beauty.
Then we placed them
between other leaves
for the moisture to evaporate
and when they were ready
we finally placed them
between the leaves of the books
of our library.
