Whoever has forgotten
that dark day
on the 23rd of August 1927
cannot understand
the passion for justice
and the need for humanity.
Human rights
are not abstract
they too have a history
full of sins
of societies against men
who wanted only
to live free
in order to offer others
what cannot be bought
their life and their opus.
