We were not searching anew

the famous mirrors

but the sparkle of colors

that does not hesitate

to splatter

the banks of the canal

in Murano.

Everything was so clear

so luminous and limpid

that our eyes could

quench themselves on colors

and glut themselves on light

as if this reality

was the only one that could

resist the beauty

of the Serenissima.
