Τhe Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus of Wittgenstein is constructed on seven propositions. So the first one is, the world is everything, that is the case. If we have this proposition as a starting point it means we are talking about only facts and for that we need not only things but facts, so in reality events in space-time.
