We have in this position a nice example of the powerful bishop not this one. So you can see that if you have promotion and you get a queen, you will make a mate. No. You will make a pass. So it’s wrong. The idea is in fact to have another promotion with the bishop. So with this move black has to play and in any case in this position it’s obvious that the bishop can do the work. And this is sufficient for the mate.
