Teaching stories are using techniques which are ancient and robust. They proved in the past that they are relevant for some explanations of how to evolve as a human being in the framework of Humanity i.e. outside societies of oblivion. But they need an exegesis because they are deeper than we think. This is at this level that the mastering of knowledge is fundamental. This is the reason of the use of the notions of essence and light, which are in the core of the notions of body and blood. So teaching stories can be considered as fairy tales for the lowest level and faith of signs at the highest.
