85039 - The structure of the symphony

N. Lygeros

You can go inside the  structure of the symphony as if it was a temple. It’s an one chamber structure but so huge that you need an orchestra to fill it with its music. In the symphony there is no linear time. Time works as a network with many edges. It is an interconnected work and it’s compatible with the polycyclic hyperstructure of Mankind. In this sense it’s important to see the symphony in an architectural way. The complexity of its structure recalls the structure of an opera house which is like a temple of the music. The symphony is a work of time in Time that’s why it’s a gift for Humanity.
